I love photographing baby feet.
There is such amazing detail in those little monkey toes.
These little feet have not yet felt the hard ground, or fallen through the cracks in sidewalks, or slipped in a giant mess of mud. They are uncracked, unbroken, unused.
The journey is ahead and in front, there is no behind or past--no footprints to regret bad turns on wrong paths. I hope my children's feet will ascend up mountains, run through fields
and gently tip toe through sacred ground.
