I had such a lovely evening on the beach with the Varkey Family.

The sky went from crystal clear blue.....

To golden afterglow...

and then burst into a million colors before the sun set 

we had fun playing and jumping

and giving our best poses to the camera!

 

 

 

I loved the end of the shoot when one of the girls found a "sea weed" jump rope...

Loved spending the evening with Danielle and Jesse.

It's always fun to photograph new love and to have the opertunity to feel their love through the lens. This was at scripps pier in La Jolla. We were hoping for a sunset but the clouds rolled in which I think can create a lovely "moody" atmosphere too!
